Today was a really tough day. We had good business and a steady stream of customers but that wasn’t the problem. On the last blog I mentioned that we had been awarded a very big job. More than 50 computers to repair. That sounds great, until I realize that I must front the money for all the parts.Money For Nothing

With upfront costs nearing ten thousand dollars my mouth begins to dry. I can’t pull ten grand from my behind but how can I miss the opportunity either. Dilemma.

Brenda is great and can do the work without breaking a sweat, just as long as OLTL is on, in the background but I have to worry about paying the bills. I’ve been smart enough to keep my credit good so I can get the money but getting in “too deep” is always what I worry about.

I called American Express and the representative listened to my anxieties and increased my spending limits. Well that’s good but it doesn’t decrease the anxiety. I’ve never had to go in debt before. In the Air Force we called this “Pucker Factor 10”.
