Best Buy/Geek Squad charges $130.00 for a virus repair and recommends a backup for an additional $70.00, a $200 proposition. Staples prices are close to the same. Local shops have the ability to charge less but virus repairs can be very (VERY) challenging so the average prices range from $60.00 to $99.00.

We had a good day today. We received a call from a new warrantee company to let us know that we were selected specifically to do a very big job. A local charter school has a ton of computers and asked for PC Hub by name. So cool. See “Brenda vs. The Acer AP2000”.

He tells me that he’s been doing computer work for 12 years, oh.. okay. What is that, 1998 – 1997? Really, just because I’ve been doing this since 1977 means nothing.
